Wood Badge 2027 – Weekend 1 of 2

Wood Badge is the ultimate leadership training program for volunteers involved at all levels of Scouting across all programs of Scouting (Cubs, Scouts BSA, Venturing).

This course helps you maximize your own potential and that of the Scouts you lead. It is one of the best investments you can make in your Scouting journey, receiving a well organized program from friendly staff for two fun weekends. This training will prove invaluable to you in all aspects of Scouting, business, and your personal life.

 

Dates & Location:

Wood Badge is a 5-day course held across 2 weekends, both at Camp Tamarancho (1000 Iron Springs Rd, Fairfax, CA 94930)

  • Weekend 1: Friday, February 19th – Sunday, February 21st
  • Weekend 2: Saturday, March 20th – Sunday, March 21st

**Please Note: Participants must be on site, in uniform, and ready to begin no later than 7:30am on Friday, February 19th and Saturday, March 20th**

 

Cost:

Course fee is $350; this can be paid in installments. Fill in the form below and enter the price – $100 is required to hold your slot. If you are unable to attend, your deposit can be refunded if you notify Piedmont Council (contact@piedmontbsa.org) before December 1st, 2026.

 

Requirements to Participate:

  • You are at least 18 years old, and are currently registered as an adult Scouter in a Cub, Scouts BSA, or Venturing unit (or have a District or Council position)
  • Have completed Safeguarding Youth Training and California MRT + LiveScan fingerprinting
  • Have BSA Medical Forms A, B, and C
  • Complete the registration form below

**Please note: completion of this course requires full attendance at all five days of training**
