Piedmont Community Service Crew Info Session

April 19 @ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

On Saturday, April 19th from 5:00 – 6:00pm in the Piedmont Middle School Multipurpose Room, soon to be middle school graduates and their parents are invited to attend a discussion hosted by Piedmont Community Service Crew (PCSC), a Piedmont Council Scouting America program for high school age youth. The discussion will address the topic of: “What I wish I knew before I went to high school”.

This event is organized by Piedmont Community Service Crew co-presidents Elena O’Connell and Stephanie Lee. Elena and Stephanie will host the event, and moderate the youth panel of 5 PCSC members. The crew members will share their insight and tips on transitioning to Piedmont High and navigating the school.

They will speak to the value of being in PCSC and how being involved has added to their personal growth, going beyond being a convenient and social way of gaining community service hours.

Following the discussion, there will be time for parents and students to ask questions.

RSVP – Parents of 8th Graders: Please respond to this form to share your thoughts and concerns about the transition to high school, and to express your interest in attending.
