Which Pack Will YOU Choose?

 In Council News, Cub Scout

While many know about Piedmont’s incredible school district, many are unaware that Piedmont Council is consistently ranked one of the best in Scouting across the entire US with nearly 20% of local youth participating.

Piedmont Council’s Cub Scout program has four Packs, with each Pack’s membership closely tied to one of Piedmont’s elementary age schools (Beach, Corpus Christi, Havens, and Wildwood).

August/September is an ‘Open Enrollment’ period for Kindergarten through 5th Grade Girls and Boys

Most girls and boys begin their Scouting journey in August – many join as Kindergarteners, but all youth from K through 5th Grade are welcome to join the Cub Scout program this time of year!
While your family might have a history with Scouting, most new members (and parents) have no experience with Scouting.
Have general questions about Cub Scouts? Contact the Council’s Program Coordinator Eris Turner (eturner@piedmontbsa.org).

First Pack Meetings – “Open Houses”:

Each of our Packs welcomes you to join their first meeting in September. These meetings will feature the Pack’s traditional start of the year programming and provide an opportunity to meet the leadership and get a feel for the Pack. Your family can join any Pack in Piedmont (especially one that works for your schedule), but we encourage looking at the Pack linked with your child’s elementary school to have an overlap with classmates and friends.
