Christmas Tree Lot

The Piedmont Scouting Tree Lot is NOW CLOSED! Thank you all for your support of Piedmont Scouting!

An East Bay tradition since 1966, the Tree Lot boasts a great selection of freshly cut, high quality trees, garland and wreaths, and is staffed by enthusiastic Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturing Crew members and adult volunteers. In addition to being a great family holiday activity, it is the primary fundraiser supporting Piedmont Scouting programs year-round.

Tree deliveries are available on Tues/Thurs/weekends, for an additional fee. Other services will be available every day, including tree stands and a helpful hand selecting and loading your tree from the many young Scouting volunteers!

The yearly fundraiser has grown into a family and Scouting tradition with Scouts and volunteers organizing, managing and delivering trees. As John Stewart, former adult coordinator of the Tree Lot, notes: “Working at the Tree Lot reinforces important life skills, such as responsibility, showing up on time and providing quality customer service. Our Scouts also learn about getting along with people – in this case the customer – teamwork, and working towards the same goal,while having fun with what they’re doing.”
